Job summary

Talon America is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations across Talon North America. This role will manage the day-to-day accounting function, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls as the business scales.

The Accounting Manager will partner closely with FP&A, AR/AP, and senior leadership, supporting month-end close, audit readiness, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• CPA qualified with active certification.
• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances.
• Prepare and process intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain cash flow reporting and track working capital performance on an ongoing basis.
• Support statutory audit coordination, preparing all required schedules and documentation in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation to strengthen controls and efficiency.
