This is a remote-first position with occasional in-person company gatherings. Ideal candidate has 7+ years in accounting with ASC 606 revenue recognition and healthcare reimbursement knowledge, plus advanced Excel and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong revenue recognition (ASC 606).
• Deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, insurance claims workflows and revenue cycle management.
• Advanced Excel skills and solid experience in modern ERP environments.
• Preferred: active CPA license, NetSuite implementation/integration, and Power BI or SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly revenue close under ASC 606, including journal entries, accruals, reserves, and reconciliations, with audit-ready statements.
• Oversee an outsourced RCM vendor against SLAs, monitoring denials, clean-claim rates, and net collection metrics, and drive corrective action plans.
• Reconcile completed visits, billable services, claims, cash postings and unapplied cash between RCM subledgers and the general ledger.
• Oversee AR valuation, aging, collectability, contractual allowances and bad debt reserves by payer and market; establish write-off approvals and segregation of duties.
• Investigate billing trends to identify unbilled services, missed authorizations and reimbursement shortfalls; partner with operations, finance and tech teams on dashboards and system integrations.
