Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned accounting professional to play a key leadership role within our client's real estate team. This individual will help guide the financial operations across a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring strong financial stewardship and cross-functional collaboration.



In this role, you’ll oversee the daily workflow of a dynamic accounting function, ensuring operational excellence and reliable financial output. You’ll serve as a resource to teams across property operations, development, and corporate finance, bridging communication and providing strategic accounting insight where needed.



This position also plays a role in maintaining internal controls, overseeing core accounting processes, and supporting both recurring and ad hoc reporting needs. You'll help lead the monthly and quarterly close cycles, work closely with other departments to align on budgets and forecasts, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our reporting.



The ideal candidate brings a background in real estate accounting, strong leadership experience, and an ability to interpret financial information in a complex operating environment. Familiarity with real estate systems and reporting standards is preferred, along with a hands-on approach to mentoring teams and navigating evolving business needs.



5+ years of experience

Real Estate background

CPA highly preferred
