We seek an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance team in Cleveland, reporting to the Controller and guiding daily accounting operations. You will lead the monthly close, oversee general ledger and A/R, coordinate payroll with an external processor, support FAR-compliant audits, forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 7-15 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years as Accounting Manager.
• Deltek software experience is required (VantagePoint, Vision, Costpoint, and/or Ajera).
• AEC industry background strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 & 842.
• Overhead Rate Audit & FAR Part 31 experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the monthly close process, including reconciliations and financial statements for management review.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries and period-end adjustments.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing accuracy, aging reports, and collections.
• Coordinate payroll administration with the external payroll processor and allocate labor costs to projects.
• Support internal and external audits, including FAR compliance and audit documentation.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and monitor billings and collections.
• Collaborate with Controller to support daily accounting operations and financial management.
• Manage accounting across multiple legal entities and project-based segments.
• Ensure accurate project costing and cost allocations for reporting and profitability analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
