Job summary

VistaPrint is seeking an Accounting Manager for the North America Controllership team. The role oversees US, Mexico, and Canadian manufacturing accounting end-to-end, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and effective internal controls.

You will drive adherence to policy, support audits, and lead process improvements including automation. This is a remote role spanning North America with occasional travel for collaboration and oversight.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing environments: experience with COGS, Inventory, PP&E, Shipping, and Labor accounting.
• 7–10+ years of accounting experience, ownership of functional areas or legal entities and leading/developing junior team members.
• Public company background: experience in a public company setting, meeting deadlines and robust internal control and audit environments.
• Technical proficiency: knowledge of Leases, Capital Assets/Impairment, and Inventory.
• Tax knowledge: familiarity with North American indirect tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations for US, Mexico, and Canadian manufacturing entities, and other functional areas ensuring the quality and predictability of the reporting cycle.
• Translate leadership and business priorities into actionable work plans, managing timelines and resource coordination.
• Serve as the primary contact for the business in your assigned area, providing accounting insights on key transactions and financial results.
• Oversee accounting policy application and judgments across North America.
• Drive redesign and improvement initiatives, such as automation and process standardization, that scale to enhance functional maturity.
• Ensure the consistent application of internal controls and governance frameworks across the region.
• Provide direction, prioritization, and clear expectations to other team members, fostering growth through leadership as an individual contributor.
• Coordinate as the central point for external and internal auditors within North America, managing documentation and alignment.
