Job summary

SendCutSend, headquartered in Reno, NV, seeks an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and build scalable processes for growth. You will oversee close cycles, payroll, AP/AR, and GL while ensuring GAAP compliance across multi-state operations.

This hands-on role emphasizes developing people, improving processes, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Remote options within PT zone are considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience with payroll, multi-state sales and use tax, and financial reporting.
• ERP software proficiency and advanced Excel; knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or inventory-based environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and GL.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state and federal laws and GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
• Collaborate with Controller on financial strategies and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect assets.
• Improve existing procedures for efficiency.
• Support ERP implementation and optimization.
