Spherion Staffing, LLC in Broussard, LA is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead daily finance operations, manage the month-end close, and drive internal controls. You will oversee a small accounting team and collaborate with operations to meet financial targets.

The role requires strong leadership, 6+ years of finance experience (oil & gas or manufacturing preferred) and a CPA/CA or MBA is a plus. Monday–Friday, $115–125K plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• 6+ years of finance experience, preferably in Oil & Gas and/or Manufacturing with 2+ years in management.
• CPA/CA or MBA is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle month-end close for Broussard ledger with operations including distribution and manufacturing.
• Oversee accounting staff and ensure internal controls are maintained.
• Partner with operational managers to drive financial targets set by upper management.
• Conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet forecasting and analysis.
• Provide proactive variance analysis and communicate issues/opportunities to management.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial results.
