Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Solid working knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Experience reviewing the work of others, training staff, or leading accounting team members.
• Experience preparing financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and general ledger processes.
• Prepare monthly journal entries with complete supporting documentation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activity, including cash application and collections.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, lender reporting, and audits.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and process improvements.
