Job summary

Tennr is hiring an Accounting Manager to own full-cycle accounting and establish scalable controls for rapid growth in the New York area. You will lead the monthly close, own the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, and support audits toward a scalable, compliant operation.

Reporting to the Controller, you will coach staff, optimize processes, and collaborate with finance and operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle ownership across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close: Own the end-to-end close, improve cycle time and accuracy.
• Revenue recognition under ASC 606, deferred revenue and usage-based billing; reconcile with GL.
• Manage collections and AR function; coach junior team members.
• Oversee AP, vendor payments, and expense management with clear approvals.
• Review payroll and support equity and stock-based compensation accounting.
• Lead audit preparation and support international payroll compliance.
• Design scalable processes and participate in ERP migration and automation.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with external accounting partners.
