Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll or general ledger required.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Payroll procedures or accounting software knowledge; Sage a plus.
• Experience with an external payroll provider a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise staff.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, accounts receivable, and GL activities.
• Handle cash reporting, bank reconciliations, deposits, and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare physician payroll information for submission to external payroll provider.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting and tax filings.
• Identify discrepancies and improve workflows and internal controls.
• Support management with financial reports, audits, and special projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, payroll, employee, physician, and sensitive information.
