Job summary

CFS in Chicago is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead month-end close and financial reporting for multiple entities. The role includes overseeing AP across business and personal entities, supporting system migrations, and mentoring staff.

You will partner with finance leadership on cash management, risk oversight, and investment administration. The ideal candidate has CPA credentials (or strong preference), 5+ years of accounting experience, and experience in family-office-like environments

Qualifications

• CPA required or strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience within a family office environment.
• Proven success improving accounting processes, AP operations, and financial reporting functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Oversee accounts payable processes and vendor management across business and personal entities.
• Support accounting system migration and process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop staff accounting personnel.
