SentiLink Corp in New York, NY is seeking an Accounting Manager to own operating expenses and general accounting end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and scalability of our financials across non-revenue areas. This hands-on role leads the monthly close, manages a team, and builds scalable systems and processes in partnership with Finance and the business to ensure reliable, well-understood numbers.

Formación

• 6+ years of accounting experience in progressive roles.
• Experience owning monthly close and general accounting processes in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience managing or mentoring a team is a plus.
• Track record of improving accounting processes, systems, and controls in a growing company.
• Experience with audits and working with external auditors.
• CPA or public accounting background is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly close, monthly consolidation, and financial statement preparation across multiple entities, including intercompany and foreign currency activity.
• Manage all non-revenue accounting areas: operating expenses, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and equity accounting.
• Perform and review flux and variance analysis, investigate unexpected trends or anomalies.
• Identify and drive improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to support scale and reduce risk.
• Lead and develop a team of 3 (Senior Accountant and 2 Staff Accountants).
• Lead the end-to-end audit process for non-revenue areas.
• Partner with external advisors and internal leadership on technical accounting and corporate tax matters
