Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants responsible for client financial reporting across portfolios. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements.

You will supervise staff, manage day-to-day activities, coordinate monthly and quarterly close processes, and support internal controls and SOX compliance while aligning with client agreements and audit requests.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising accounting staff
• Experience with financial reporting and SOX controls
• Ability to coordinate deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Review financial packages for accuracy before release
• Confirm debt, real estate taxes, sales taxes, and owner distributions payments
• Assist with transitions and audits as needed
• Review staff work product for completeness before release
• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules and deadlines, and mentor staff
• Oversee monthly and quarterly internal controls and auditor requests including variance analysis and SOX packages
• Ensure client agreements are followed and payments are accurate
