The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and commission/royalties accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with cost accounting principles.
• Experience with commissions and/or royalties accounting principles.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks (Enterprise/Desktop), Excel/Google Sheets, and MacOS environment.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
• Record and maintain General Ledger journal entries.
• Analyze financial data and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and manage depreciation tracking.
• Oversee and support commission accounting process.
• Maintain and reconcile monthly inventory.
• Supervise and mentor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) team members.
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within accounting workflows.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and other financial projects as needed.
