The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Word and Excel. AS400 and Lawson experience are a plus; this role offers steady payroll and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated team player with an ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including overtime.
• Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and adhere to tight timelines.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Knowledge of AS400 and Lawson accounting programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries
• Perform various month-end reporting and account reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analysis
• Provide project assistance and support for the accounting department and other functions of the business
