Job summary

GBA Talents Limited in the United States is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting and audit readiness. You will be hands-on and ensure accuracy and timeliness of close processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and formal qualification, with approximately 5 years of relevant experience, including exposure to HKFRS/IFRS and tax matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Qualified accountant (HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent).
• Approximately 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience with a Big 4 or second-tier audit firm is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS, Hong Kong tax, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work as a team under tight deadlines.
• Frequent travel is required.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set of accounts, month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with HKFRS/IFRS.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and routine cash flow monitoring.
• Manage tax filings and company secretarial matters for management reporting.
• Liaise directly with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Maintain and enforce internal control systems, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
