Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit in Rocklin, California seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the Controllers department. This full-time position supervises accounts payable, expense reimbursements, fixed assets and related accounting duties.

The role reports to the VP, Assistant Controller and includes a base salary range with an incentive target, relocation assistance, and a chance to influence internal controls and system improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of accounting oversight experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory guidance.
• Experience with internal controls in AP, fixed assets and reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for accounts payable, fixed assets and expense reimbursements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory guidance in responsibilities.
• Manage internal controls and risk within areas of responsibility.
• Collaborate on system design, testing and implementation of upgrades.
• Coordinate with internal/external review parties (Audit, FCA, auditors).
