Job summary

Haseko Hawaii, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Accounting Department in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. This role will manage financial close, reporting, audits, and multi-entity accounting operations for a real estate development and related operations.

The successful candidate will oversee general ledger accounting, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, coordinate external audits, and support budgeting and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, auditing, and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate audit preparation and serve as a primary contact during external audits.
• Support tax filings, regulatory reporting, and internal control activities.
• Review intercompany transactions and consolidations.
• Assist with budgeting, analysis, and management reporting.
