Job summary

AMETEK STC Largo is seeking an Accounting Manager to coordinate daily general accounting activities, ensure GAAP-compliant reporting, and support year-end close and audits. The role involves inventory analysis, cost rollups, inter-company accounting, and HFM reporting coordination.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, at least three years in a manufacturing setting, and strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.

• Experience with GAAP, SOX, and financial controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily general accounting functions and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
• Support year-end closing, internal audits, and SOX documentation/compliance.
• Prepare and analyze inventories, margins, and cost rollups across parts and regions.
• Manage cash flow, inter-company balances, and consolidation activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly/annual reporting.
