Japs-Olson Company in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day general accounting, AP/AR, payroll oversight, and internal controls. You will drive monthly closes, financial reporting, and tax coordination with external providers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory duties, and preferably a CPA/CMA. ERP expertise (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory/leadership exposure.
• CPA or CMA preferred and ERP system proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close per GAAP.
• Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Coordinate tax filings and audits with third-party providers.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll oversight.
• Lead accounting staff through training and process improvements.
• Enhance ERP systems and drive automation.
