Ilocatum in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead a high-volume food service distribution accounting operation and ensure timely, accurate closes.

You will supervise staff, optimize processes, coordinate with auditors and deliver insightful analyses to leadership. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including supervising a team in a high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Working knowledge of internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Advanced Excel, plus working knowledge of Access.
• Proven ability to lead a team through change.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible to work extra hours at close and other deadlines.

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close as accounting manager.
• Hire, train, coach and manage the performance of accounting staff.
• Direct the teams handling general ledger, vendor billing, cash reconciliation, fixed assets and capex accounting.
• Perform and review complex reconciliations and account analysis.
• Protect general ledger integrity and a strong internal control environment.
• Recommend process improvements and set accounting policy.
• Prepare audit schedules and work with internal and external auditors.
• Build ad hoc reports and financial analysis for leadership.
