Job summary

OneSpaWorld LLC, a global wellness and spa services provider, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, GL, and close processes. You will supervise Senior and Staff Accountants and drive timely, accurate statements while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting and Finance.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in financial reporting/general ledger.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ten key by touch.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close per US GAAP.
• Provide timely monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for management review.
• Respond to inquiries from Controller and finance managers.
• Assist in year-end audit preparation and audit coordination.
• Review reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure intercompany transactions are eliminated per GAAP.
• Manage travel and freight-related accruals.
• Review recurring adjustments (depreciation, goodwill amortization, bonus accruals).
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with finance managers to achieve department goals.
• Improve department procedures and workflow.
• Coordinate with local bookkeeper in Italy for statutory financials.
