Amazon Devices and Services Accounting seeks a senior finance professional to own end-to-end accounting for hardware, digital content, subscriptions, and related services. You will handle revenue recognition, inventory and cost accounting, and deferred revenue for a rapidly evolving product portfolio.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, COSO control design, and experience in Big Four firms or Fortune 500 clients. Collaboration with partners across IT and business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supporting accounting and reporting processes end to end.
• Own end-to-end processes to support finance and business partners.
• Assess internal controls designs and design new controls for growing activities.
• Execute judgments to keep projects moving and monthly close on track.
• Escalate risks and issues to leadership as needed.
• Show strong ownership and accountability.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Lead delivery of accounting tasks and projects.
• Enhance partnerships between Accounting and business/IT groups.
• Research, conclude, and memorialize technical accounting positions.
