Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to sub-ledgers.
• Record regular journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
• Understand revenue recognition and lease accounting under GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Manage company cash flow and budgeting processes.
• Monitor and report on project profitability and cost management.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate job cost reporting.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Lead tax and audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with legal accounting practices and respond to regulatory changes.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and documentation.
• Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team.
