Job summary

Integra LifeSciences in Princeton, NJ is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the general ledger accounting team and close processes.

You will manage 3-5 accountants, ensure SOX 404 compliance, prepare monthly journals and financial statements, and collaborate with IT, FP&A, and Shared Services to explain variances and drive accuracy.

The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with staff development in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA/MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of corporate and/or public accounting experience, with 2+ years managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly journal entries, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Run monthly reports to reconcile or analyze general ledger balances.
• Review account analyses and monthly financial statements with explanations of variances.
• Lead the monthly close and ensure sub-ledgers map accurately to GL.
• Manage a team of up to 3-5 accountants and provide training.
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and effective internal controls.
