Job description

BrightCore is seeking an Accounting Manager - Benefits & Payroll at a company headquartered in Norcross, GA. The ideal candidate will assist in all areas of payroll, benefits, and self-insurance accounting. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days a week in the office (Tuesday/Wednesday). There are no direct reports for now.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations for salaries, bonuses, commissions, and self-insurance (accruals, etc.)
• Handle financial reporting related to medical, workers compensation, and insurance
• Analyze variances and trends for process improvement
• Conduct ad hoc analysis for reconciliations and reporting
• Perform technical research on complex areas or new guidance

Qualifications

• Masters degree or CPA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in payroll/benefits accounting
• Experience with Oracle and Workday is a plus
