This role involves leading the accounting function, preparing for an external audit, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a CPA license preferred, and strong analytical skills. The position is full-time and located in Irvine, CA with a pay range of $130,000 to $160,000 annually plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
• Strong understanding of audit processes and internal controls.
• Experience in a start-up or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead accounting close processes monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Serve as the primary contact for the company's first external audit.
