Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with a large corporation, government, managed care health plan, IPA, or in a hospital setting.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
Extensive experience in all aspects of general and administrative accounting, including payroll, fixed assets, property management, cash & investments, and accruals.
Responsibilities
Apply a thorough understanding of the Client's policies and procedures and financial statements.
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures.
Review journal entries, monthly account analysis, and audit-related schedules.
Advise staff on handling non-routine accounting transactions.
Provide training to new and existing staff.
Coordinate with independent auditors and regulators on financial audits.
