Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Accounting Manager for a Santa Monica-based digital marketing agency. The role is hands-on and highly accountable, focusing on accounts receivable, billing, and month-end close, while collaborating with senior finance leadership and cross‑functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate brings 4–6+ years of accounting experience, strong cash application skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of accounting experience with AR, billing, revenue operations, and cross-functional finance processes.
• Experience leading a team or mentoring others is preferred.
• Strong cash application, billing adjustments, and month-end close knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AR workflows: ledger reviews, aging, and reporting.
• Process billing and invoicing with accuracy and proper approvals.
• Reconcile daily cash applications (ACH, wire, checks).
• Own month-end close deliverables and related reporting.
• Coordinate with external accounting partners and internal ops to improve processes and SOPs.
