Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function in Renton, WA. The role focuses on accurate financial records, the monthly close, and scalable processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with strong knowledge of general ledger, internal controls, and process improvement, partnering with the Controller and finance team to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, and expense reporting.
• Manage monthly close, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures; support audits and regulatory reporting.
• Drive process improvements and ERP enhancements; act as backup to Controller.
