Accounting Manager

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial statements
• Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure timely close of accounts
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and budgets for management
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Manage fixed assets accounting and maintenance of general ledger
• Oversee intercompany transactions and audit processes
• Coordinate year-end audit and assist with tax preparation and compliance
• Utilize ERP systems for financial data management and reporting
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CMA designation preferred
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office
• Experience with journal entries, balance sheets, and fixed asset management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
