HVMG – Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day financial operations at our hotel portfolio. You’ll oversee the accounting staff, prepare reports, and strengthen internal controls while guiding the team toward accurate, timely financial insights.

This role reports to the Director of Finance - Controller and offers growth opportunities within the hospitality finance track across our nationwide portfolio.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience in a similar accounting management role is highly preferred.

Job description

As an Accounting Manager with HVMG, you’ll lead day-to-day financial operations at the hotel—overseeing accounting staff, preparing reports, and ensuring strong internal controls. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader looking to grow into senior finance positions within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• You'll play a crucial role in our hotel's financial success, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations.
• Your daily tasks will include overseeing the accounting staff, preparing financial reports, and implementing internal controls.
• You will report to the Director of Finance - Controller.
• A career as an accounting manager can lead to higher level positions within the hospitality industry, such as finance director, VP of finance, or even CFO.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have

• A college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or at least 2 years of hotel experience
• Prior experience in a similar role is highly preferred
• A combination of education and hospitality experience will be considered
