Job summary

Saracen Casino Resort is seeking an Accounting Manager to ensure the accurate preparation of financial statements, oversee the General Ledger and manage weekly and month-end closings. You will supervise AP and GL activities in line with Saracen Casino Resort policies and internal control standards.

The role requires GAAP expertise, at least 5 years in accounting, strong MS Office skills, and experience with Infinium or similar GL systems.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years direct accounting experience; GAAP knowledge required and GASB exposure.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Outlook); Word and PowerPoint desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions.
• Manage month end closings and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
• Maintain chart of accounts and assist in the budget process.
• Provide feedback to the AP/GL team and support CFO on projects.

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all functions related to financial statement preparation including managing the General Ledger function and weekly and month end closing Supervises the General Ledger and Accounts Payable functions All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Saracen Casino Resorts policies and procedures Internal Control Standards and objectives as well as Quapaw Casinos and Saracen Casino Resorts

Essential JOB Functions and Responsibilities

Supervise Accounts Payable and General LedgerResponsible for managing month end closings reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and analyzing trial balancesReview entries to the general ledger to assure accuracy and timely completionAssist with preparing monthly financial statements balance sheet income statement and cash flow statement Maintain changes and additions to chart of accountsAssist with budget processProvide regular feedback to the Accounts Payable and General Ledger team membersAssist in other projects as directed by the CFO andor Financial ControllerAttend all necessary training meetings Evaluate employee performance and provide feedbackAt all times acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Saracen Casino ResortProvides exceptional customer service to all guests both internal and external and communicates in a pleasant friendly professional manner at all times Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staffMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory departmental and company policiesAttends all necessary training meetingsDuties responsibilities requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed Hours are determined by 24 hour scheduleOutstanding example of and a credit to Saracen Casino Resort
