Job summary

NOW CFO is seeking an Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager Consultant with experience across industries to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide consulting services in bookkeeping, controllership, accounting, and financial analysis, with public accounting background.

Candidates must be local to Orlando, Tampa, or Atlanta. Full-time position offering a salary of $105k–$115k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting manager/controller accounting or related roles.
• Proven experience working as a consultant in various industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QBO) and multiple ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistant controller and accounting services to clients in various industries.
• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Assist clients with financial decision-making by offering sound advice and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve financial goals.
• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Handle other accounting-related tasks and projects as needed.
