Cain Watters & Associates is seeking an Accounting Manager in San Francisco, California. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounting Manager is responsible for reviewing the accounting work prepared by staff members including bank reconciliation, general ledger, balance sheet and income statements for a growing CPA firm specializing in financial planning for national clientele. The Accounting Manager also is responsible for supervising a team of accountants in their day‑to‑day work activities.

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required.
This is a full‑time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based on management’s approval. An in‑office presence may be required for training. This is a primarily remote role, with an in‑office presence once a month or as business need dictates. The ability to work remotely is allowed based on management’s approval.
