We're building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn't just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our growing team and support our general ledger accounting function. You'll help manage the month-end close, oversee reconciliations, and own key areas of our financial statements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, bringing structure to accounting processes, and partnering with a team in a fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including the close calendar, checklist, and timely, accurate delivery of results.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and payroll.

  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve variances promptly.

  • Manage intercompany accounting and multi-currency activity across entities.

Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and flux analysis.

  • Support management, board, and investor reporting.

Audit & Compliance
  • Serve as a key point of contact for the annual financial statement audit, including PBC schedules and supporting documentation.

  • Support tax filings and other compliance work with external advisors.

Process Improvement
  • Shorten and streamline the close through automation, better tooling, and clear documentation.

  • Contribute to finance systems improvements and implementations.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and in-house experience at a high-growth or public company.

  • CPA or equivalent preferred.

  • Proven ownership of the month-end close, GL, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience preparing financial statements.

  • Experience supporting external audits.

  • Proficiency with a modern ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • A collaborative, proactive approach and comfort working in a fast-paced environment where processes are still being built.

  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate for a hybrid role.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, and international operations.

  • Exposure to SOX readiness or public-company reporting.

Compensation & Benefits
  • We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.

  • Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $160,000-$200,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.

  • Bonus: This role is Bonus eligible and may participate in the Company's discretionary annual bonus program.

  • Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company's stock option program and share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.

  • Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees professionally and personally, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and additional benefits and perks.

  • The opportunity to work on ambitious AI products alongside a highly experienced, fast-moving, and international team.

  • Significant ownership, direct impact, and opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.

This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Team members are expected to work from our San Francisco office three full days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely and are expected to be available during agreed working hours and to maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team's time zone.
