Job description

This is a 100% remote position, but candidates are expected to report to our Rosemont, IL HQ during onboarding (3 months) and will require 25% domestic travel.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic direction, team development, and process leadership for a large, growing business, while assisting the Assistant Corporate Controller in designing an effective and efficient Finance organization.
  2. Lead change management processes for the accounting team and be a key developer of talent within the organization.
  3. Manage the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliation of GL accounts, etc.
  4. Lead business initiatives and strategies, including system rollouts, integration of new acquisitions, process improvements, and the external audit process.
  5. Manage governance over key systems in VIP, including fixed assets, treasury, leases, and other general ledger systems.
  6. Develop financial reporting tools using Power BI or other data reporting tools.
  7. Travel up to 10% as required.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience and 3+ years of management experience, or a High School Diploma with 9+ years of specific experience and 4+ years of management experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
