Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the Controller in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and the monthly close at our Raleigh headquarters. This role requires strong GAAP knowledge and leadership to guide the accounting team in a fast-growing private aviation company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least two years of experience at the Senior Accountant level or above.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Controller in overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Manage monthly close in FloQast and preparation of financial statements including TB flux analysis.
• Oversee general ledger activity and coordinate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure transactions and account reconciliations are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with GAAP.
• Support audits and compliance with applicable regulatory and tax requirements.
• Provide clear financial information and respond to requests from business leaders.
• Supervise, coach, and develop assigned accounting team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned
