Qualifications

• Experience supervising accounting staff and coordinating audits/externals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close for the company.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly expense accruals and review account reconciliations.
• Oversee job cost accounting and project cost tracking within Foundation.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, including staff accountant and accounting assistant.
• Coordinate with project managers and operations for accurate project financial reporting.
• Assist with annual audits, tax preparation support, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close for the company


• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all transactions


• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules


• Prepare monthly expense accruals and review account reconciliations


• Oversee job cost accounting and maintain project cost tracking within Foundation


• Manage and update royalty reporting to technology lessor


• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including the Staff Accountant and Accounting Assistant


• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure accurate project financial reporting


• Assist with annual audits, tax preparation support, and compliance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred


• 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry
