Job summary

East West Bank in Pasadena, CA is seeking a strategic Operations Accounting Leader to manage daily accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls for a growing financial institution. You will drive automation and analytics to enhance accuracy and efficiency, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead cross-functional teams.

Requirements: 5+ years in accounting in public accounting or public company settings; CPA or MBA preferred; advanced Excel; experience with ERP

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or public company environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams.

• Support accounting requirements for new products, services, and system enhancements.
• Drive improvements and automation initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and special projects as needed.

Overview

Join our dynamic Operations Accounting Team and take a leadership role in managing complex accounting functions for a growing financial institution. This position oversees critical areas of bank operations accounting and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $110,000.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
