Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Oklahoma City to oversee daily accounting operations, grant accounting, and financial reporting. You will manage month-end close, journals, reconciliations, and internal controls while coordinating with grant programs and auditors.

You will lead a team, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), and timely reporting for budgets, draws, and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal grant accounting and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
• Experience with audits, internal controls, and financial compliance.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end close.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial records to ensure accuracy and maintain strong internal controls.
• Oversee federal and pass-through grant accounting in accordance with Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200), including budget monitoring, allowable costs, and cost allocations.
• Prepare and review grant financial reports, drawdowns, and other required reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
• Lead annual audit preparation, Single Audit, and funding agency monitoring reviews while serving as the primary contact for auditors.
• Assist with Form 990 preparation and other financial compliance requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff through training, goal setting, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with program, grants, and other departments to support financial accountability and organizational goals.
