Job summary

Connect Search LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager in Oklahoma City to own a complex multi-entity close and report to senior leadership. This high-visibility role requires strong technical accounting, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence processes across corporate and real estate entities.

The ideal candidate will manage a team of three, drive accurate consolidated reporting, and position themselves for an Assistant Controller or Corporate Controller path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven multi-entity consolidation experience.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations.
• Real estate and/or lease accounting experience.
• Experience with property-level debt schedules, amortization, and refinancing-related journal entries.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, multi-tab workbooks, and complex reconciliations.
• Experience independently managing a full month-end close.
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process across multiple legal entities from start to finish.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial information, including intercompany eliminations and true-ups.
• Manage accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets, including leases, property-level debt, amortization, and refinancing activity.
• Prepare and maintain debt schedules, amortization schedules, rollforwards, reconciliations, and other complex accounting workbooks.
• Analyze financial information across multiple entities, locations, and departments.
• Identify accounting issues and risks proactively and communicate recommendations to leadership.
• Present financial information and analysis to the CFO and executive/ownership team.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely, and well-supported financial reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of three accounting professionals.
• Continuously improve accounting processes, systems, reporting, and use of technology.

This is a high-visibility opportunity for an accounting leader who can take ownership of a complex, multi-entity close and serve as a key resource to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to present financial information to executive leadership. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to make an immediate impact and grow into an Assistant Controller or Corporate Controller role.
Compensation: $90-$120K, based upon experience

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process across multiple legal entities from start to finish

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven multi-entity consolidation experience
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations
• Real estate and/or lease accounting experience
• Experience with property-level debt schedules, amortization, and refinancing-related journal entries
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, multi-tab workbooks, and complex reconciliations
• Experience independently managing a full month-end close
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

Strongly Preferred:

• Experience in multi-location retail, or another high-volume transactional environment
• Sage Intacct experience; NetSuite or another sophisticated multi-dimensional ERP is also valuable
• CPA or demonstrated commitment to completing the CPA certification
