Job summary

Talon America is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations across Talon North America. You will manage day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls as the business scales.

You will partner with FP&A, AR/AP, and senior leadership, supporting month-end close, audit readiness, and process improvements. CPA qualification and 3-5 years PQE are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L reporting with accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances.
• Prepare and process intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain cash flow reporting and track working capital performance.
• Support statutory audit coordination with required schedules and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and reporting automation.

THE ROLE_

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations across Talon North America. This role will manage the day-to-day accounting function, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, and strengthen internal controls as the business continues to scale.

The Accounting Manager will partner closely with FP&A, AR/AP, and senior leadership, supporting month-end close, audit readiness, and process improvements.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES_

• Prepare monthly P&L reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances.
• Prepare and process intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain cash flow reporting and track working capital performance on an ongoing basis.
• Support statutory audit coordination, preparing all required schedules and documentation in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation to strengthen controls and efficiency.

WORKING HABITS AND CORE SKILLS_

• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in Media sector preferred but not essential.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel and Power Point
• NetSuite experience preferred but not essential
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Flexible with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude
• Ability to develop strong relationships across Talon and maintain credibility with a range of stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to get their sleeves rolled up and get into the detail
