Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a production accounting leader to oversee daily accounting activities and drive a robust month-end and year-end close process. The role focuses on manufacturing accounting, treasury support, and accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage AP/AR, GL, and COGS while partnering with leadership on KPI initiatives and process improvements. A strong accounting background and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Manufacturing or production accounting experience.
• Experience with audits and state/federal tax activities.
• Experience with financial reporting systems (Oracle preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for production accounting operations.
• Manage daily accounting activities and oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Lead high-volume accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, cost of goods sold, and general ledger accounting functions.
• Support treasury operations, including cash applications and dispute management.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and maintain compliance documentation.
• Support tax preparation and filing activities.
• Assist with external financial audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across accounting functions.
• Develop and mentor accounting team members.
• Partner with leadership on departmental and company KPI initiatives.
