Job summary

Arrowhead Products Corporation seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, with primary ownership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. You will ensure financial integrity, compliance and accurate reporting while mentoring a team of transactional staff.

The role includes supervising end-to-end payroll for hourly and salaried employees, supporting month-end and year-end close, audits, and tax compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager.
• Knowledge of CA wage and hour regulations and payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices and standards.
• Experience with HRIS platforms to process payroll and employee data.
• Ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including Payroll, A/P, A/R and cash flow forecasting.
• Manage A/P transactions from invoice entry to disbursement and reporting.
• Monitor daily invoicing, revenue recognition, and aging reports for A/R.
• Supervise end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff.
• Support month-end and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure sales and use tax compliance and royalty reporting.
• Drive improvements in accounting KPIs.

Job SummaryThe Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, with primary ownership of Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and Payroll (PR) functions.
