Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with journal entries, GL management, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in accounting supervisory roles, ideally within construction or contracting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with ERP implementation.

Role Description

The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincoln, NE or Willmar, MN. This position oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger activities, assist with processing payroll, collections, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. The Accounting Manager collaborates with leadership, maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and support external audits. This role also contributes to process improvement, documentation of procedures, and cross-functional communication with project teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Journal Entries (Accounting), general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Fixed Assets, including capitalization policies, depreciation, and asset tracking.
• Associate's degree (with experience) in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Prior experience in accounting supervisory roles, ideally within construction or contracting.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and software implementation.
