Job summary

Pueblo Medical Imaging in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity healthcare organization and partner with the Controller to ensure a timely month-end close.

You will supervise staff, drive process improvements, maintain GAAP compliance, and collaborate with executives to deliver accurate financial reporting and support audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Seven (7) or more years of accounting experience.
  • Healthcare and multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end close process for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, allocations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Coordinate with revenue cycle management vendors to reconcile revenue and ensure accurate cash balancing.
  • Review payroll accounting, physician compensation accruals, and related financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting financial reports for leadership.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support annual audits, tax return preparation, shareholder reporting, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Controller, CEO, and other departments to support organizational financial objectives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Summary
