We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient accounting practices across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budget development and financial forecasting
• Collaborate with the CFO to maintain dashboards and key metrics aligned with firm-wide goals
• Assist with modeling and forecasting for new business lines, pricing strategy, and cash flow planning
• Oversee client billing and payment tracking processes
• Maintain and reconcile IOLTA and trust accounts, ensuring full compliance with legal and ethical requirements
• Process client refunds and adjustments accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, audits, registrations, and financial regulations
• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and external financial advisors
• Optimize accounting software (QuickBooks, MyCase) and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven experience with trust accounting and legal billing systems
• Experience managing IOLTA accounts
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
