Conexus is seeking an Accounting Manager on an interim basis to support its accounting operations during a large-scale ERP integration and systems migration in Irvine, CA. This W2 contractor role focuses on accruals, intercompany accounting, and revenue recognition across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite experience and SAP familiarity, with the ability to start quickly and commit to a 12-month assignment.

Qualifications

• Accruals, revenue journal entries, and intercompany accounting experience required.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment desirable.
• Medical device or life sciences industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on accounting coverage while staff support integration workstreams.
• Prepare and record monthly accruals and ensure timely expense capture.
• Post revenue-related journal entries and support revenue reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations across entities.
• Complete ad hoc accounting tasks within the ERP system as needed.
• Support month-end close deliverables to keep schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
• Assist with data extraction, validation, and cleanup during ERP migration.
• Learn and adopt new system processes as migration progresses.
• Coordinate with leadership to cover gaps as priorities shift.
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal controls.

Our medical device client is seeking an Accounting Manager on an interim basis to support its accounting operations during a large-scale ERP integration and systems migration. This individual will join the accounting team to keep day-to-day operations and close activities running while existing staff support integration workstreams. This role plays a key role in maintaining accounting continuity across multiple entities and offers direct exposure to a high-profile system migration. The ideal candidate must have strong NetSuite and SAP experience, along with hands-on experience in accruals, revenue, and intercompany accounting.

This position is a long-term contract role being paid on an hourly basis. You would be a W2 Employee with Conexus and expected to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on accounting coverage for the team while staff are reassigned to integration projects
• Prepare and record monthly accruals, ensuring expenses are captured accurately and on time
• Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries and support revenue reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations across multiple entities
• Complete ad hoc accounting tasks and analyses directly within the ERP system
• Support month-end close deliverables across assigned areas to keep the close on schedule
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research and resolve variances
• Assist with data extraction, validation, and clean-up as financial data moves to the new ERP platform
• Learn and adopt new system processes and workflows as the migration progresses
• Partner with accounting leadership to identify and fill coverage gaps as priorities shift
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation for audit and internal control purposes
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting questions and keep information flowing
