LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Manufacturing company in Fort Worth to hire an Accounting Manager. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader with a strong foundation in GAAP and full-cycle accounting. This role will oversee a team of five accounting professionals and be responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, intercompany transactions, cash flow management, general ledger reconciliations, and acquisition accounting.

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Controller to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while managing daily accounting operations. This role is crucial in ensuring accuracy and efficiency across GL Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting operations across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Train and mentor new hires on accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Review and approve intercompany transactions and consolidations.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
• Support cash flow forecasting and optimize working capital.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Manage tax filings, including sales, use, and franchise taxes.
• Assist with audits and address findings effectively.
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll, and intercompany transactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with a strong emphasis on GAAP compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 1+ years of experience managing an accounting team (required).
• Manufacturing industry experience.
